Jonathan Smith, Risk Management

Born and raised in North Carolina, he has spent his entire life rooted in the state he calls home. After dedicating 25 years to a career in manufacturing, he felt called to make a change. That change came in 2022, after four years with his wife, Aimee, and her favorite person, Stevie. Through them, he was introduced to the intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) community—a population he quickly grew to love.

Motivated by his new passion, he stepped into the field as a Compliance Officer for a local provider, where he served for three years. In this role, he gained valuable experience in facility walkthroughs, policy development, understanding diagnoses, and most importantly, building meaningful relationships with clients. His dedication and insight not only strengthened his own commitment but also inspired Aimee to pursue her dream of creating Enabld, LLC.

Outside of work, he loves to travel and capture the world through his photography. Whether behind the camera or supporting the mission of Enabld, his focus remains on people, connection, and making a positive difference.
